We can never be sure what kind of winter to expect. The only thing that’s certain is that there will be cold. We live in a true four season climate and our gardens and gardeners both get a few months of respite as the year ends. Since your plants can’t all come indoors, you’ll need to spend some time in the fall making sure they are safely tucked in for their long winter’s nap. A little effort at this time of year will also mean a lot less running around in the spring and a healthier garden to boot.
